The patches are soaked in a hydrating, slightly sticky serum. The scent is mildly sweet, very pleasant! I promise it won’t irritate your nose. The serum itself isn’t completely transparent and features some golden particles visible within. Similarly, the patches themselves are not completely transparent due to the hydrogel material being infused with a golden shimmer.

My under-eye area is very prone to fine lines and dryness due to aging and a lack of sleep. When it comes to comfortable placement, I believe you can choose to place the patch however you like, as there is no significant difference in effectiveness. The packaging mentioned placing the thinner parts upwards towards the temples, but I find they stay in place just as well when you place the inner part of the patch inwards. I would also recommend not applying too much serum, as it can cause the patches to slide off the skin.
