Four-star OT Gabriel Osenda is down to five teams, sets commitment date
One of the nation’s best offensive tackles is closing is on a decision.
Gabriel Osenda, the No. 21-ranked OT in the Rivals250 out of Tennessee, is set to lock in his college decision on January 14.
The four-star OL will choose from Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, and Minnesota when he locks in his decision next month.
“After prayer and talking with my mom and sister, we all agreed that it would be good to know a place I’m going to call home and start preparing for college and my next season of high school football,” Osenda told Rivals of his timeline for a decision.
The 6-foot-6, 300-pound offensive lineman from Chattanooga (Tenn.) Baylor School made in-season visits to Tennessee, Georgia, and South Carolina. Osenda made spring visits to both Minnesota and the Swamp.
Tennessee has been a steady team buzzing in Osenda’s recruitment and has gotten the in-state blue-chipper to campus. The Gamecocks and Dawgs have also come on strong with the Rivals250 OT during his stellar junior season.
