Bybit to Delist 7 Tokens on March 21

Among the tokens to be delisted is Celo Dollar (CUSD), a stablecoin. Most of the tokens in the delisting have low market capitalizations, something that might have influenced Bybit’s decision.

Deposits of these tokens will be halted at 8 AM UTC on March 20, 2025. Traders can withdraw the delisted tokens until June 20, 2025, at 8 AM UTC before withdrawals are disabled.

Bybit stated that the delisting aims to maintain a secure and quality trading environment. The exchange regularly reviews listed tokens to ensure they meet its standards.

The announcement has already impacted the affected tokens’ prices. Rebase GG (IRL) saw the steepest drop, plunging 41.3% in the past 24 hours. Reboot (GG) followed with a 25% decline, while Imaginary Ones (BUBBLE) and Planet Token (PLANET) fell by 15.5% and 11.8%, respectively. Meanwhile, Altava (TAVA) showed some resilience, gaining 3.7%.

Token prices typically drop following delistings due to reduced liquidity and lost market confidence. For traders, it serves as a reminder to stay educated and adapt to current market conditions.
