Netanyahu says France, UK, Canada on 'wrong side of humanity'

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Thursday disparaged long-term allies France, the UK, and Canada for threatening coordinated actions if Israel continues its 2-month-long blockade on aid flowing into Gaza, saying the triad is “on the wrong side of humanity” after the fatal Washington, DC, shooting of two Israeli embassy aides. The UK on Tuesday suspended trade talks with Israel and imposed sanctions on West Bank settlers, while the European Union also said it would reevaluate its relationship with the state over Israel’s siege on Gaza.
