Dylan Brown (Eels) – $1.1m
The Kiwi five-eighth had a massive contract at Parramatta that ran to the end of the 2032 NRL season.
The fatal flaw for the Eels were a number of contract clauses in Brown’s deal, which ultimately allowed him to cut and run.
His agent sounded out rival clubs at the start of 2025 and barely two months later landed a monster offer from the Knights – $14m over 10 years from 2026.
Brown accepted it.
It means he will move to the top of this list next year alongside his new teammate Kalyn Ponga.
