Aging is something that’s regarded by many with a kind of dread. Wrinkles, spots, grey hairs, and other visual blemishes, not to mention physical and cognitive decline, are things that few of us look forward to. For this reason, there’s an enormous industry whose sole purpose is to conceal these things and keep us looking young for as long as possible.

Another, perhaps more rewarding approach, is to accept that aging and death are an essential part of life and that by embracing them, we might end up leading more fulfilled and prosperous existences.
