MANILA, Philippines — Determined to deliver PLDT’s first championship, Savi Davison continues to dominate in the 2024-25 PVL All-Filipino Conference.

“I’m really preparing for that, so hopefully, I’ll just keep performing until we get there and when that time comes.”

“I think it was just a mentality shift from preliminaries to the playoff round. Our coach told the team earlier that it’s a long road from here. It’s best for our team to set a standard. Hopefully, we move all the way up from here,” she said.

Davison is set to face former league MVP Sisi Rondina in a playoff series, where she puts a premium on defense.

“She’s a heavy hitter. She produces points for the team. I think the top thing that comes to my mind right now is controlling our side of the net and making sure that she does not score as much as she typically does,” she said.

“I think with that, we were able to control our side a little bit more. So that might be something we prioritize, but again, they have other people that work, and we try to look at and take care of as well, hopefully, it’s gonna be a good game.”
