By Sam Gillenwater, On3 Sports: Arizona linebacker Jacob Manu plans to enter the transfer portal, per On3’s Hayes Fawcett.
Manu had been a member of the Wildcat defense over his first two seasons with the program.
In 25 appearances with several as starts, Manu posted 159 tackles, 7.5 sacks, four deflections, and an interception as one of the team’s most active defensive players.
That included his sophomore season where he nearly doubled his tackle total with a team-high of 105 and was second on the team with 6.5 sacks. Those numbers helped him to be one of the nation’s leading tacklers from this past campaign.
