In an effort to rejuvenate Facebook’s appeal, Meta is actively engaging content creators through various initiatives. The company has introduced substantial financial incentives, offering bonuses ranging from $10,000 to $50,000 per month to attract TikTok influencers to share their content exclusively on Instagram Reels. Additionally, the “Breakthrough Bonus” program provides up to $5,000 to new creators within their first 90 days, aiming to help them establish a presence on Meta’s platforms.
It’s like they’re saying, “Hey, we know we’re not the hot new thing anymore, but what if we just… paid you to hang out with us?”

Beyond financial incentives, Meta is enhancing its platforms with advanced tools to support creators. The company has launched AI Studio, an online tool that enables users to create their own chatbots and AI-generated characters, facilitating innovative content creation and deeper audience engagement.
Fact checking has be thrown out of this saloon, so anything goes. To me, it borders on a complete and massive sh*t show to see whose content engine can generate the loudest and most plentiful noise.

X is introducing AI-generated ads on its platform using its Grok AI platform. Grok is, of course, the AI assistant with text-and image-generating tools similar to ChatGPT and DALL-E. X’s AI ad tool can generate a sponsored post by analyzing a website’s homepage and creating copy and imagery from that content.
X’s marketing states that users can input their website URL, and Grok will generate ad copy, imagery, and a call-to-action (CTA) headline tailored to the brand. Users can edit the copy or swap out the image to achieve their ideal ad creative.
AI has become a common feature across digital ad platforms, with Google, Meta, Amazon, and others providing automation tools to help build campaign content. Reddit has also developed AI tools to help marketers create ads tailored to the platform.
Since Elon Musk’s acquisition in late 2022, X has faced advertising challenges. Some brands reduced spending due to concerns about appearing near objectionable content, impacting X’s ad revenue. However, executives have stated that progress has been made in attracting brands back. X’s new Global Head of Marketing, Angela Zepeda, mentioned that at least 70 of X’s top 100 spending advertisers were returning.
Interpublic Group of Cos. (IPG) recently signed a new annual deal with X for potential client spending. X CEO Linda Yaccarino has used Musk’s influence to convince IPG to spend on the platform, while Omnicom seeks regulatory approval for its planned IPG acquisition.
Grok has become a core part of Musk’s strategy for X, which includes adding more video formats and launching a payments service. X plans to promote payments and its rebrand under Musk. X has described Grok as a “humorous” AI assistant and noted a partnership with Shopify, suggesting that marketers could use Grok to build X ads. X also said AI ad tools would help analyze campaign performance.
