2025 MLB free-agent signing tracker, trades: Dodgers add Kirby Yates to bullpen

The MLB free-agent market is officially open! 

Juan Soto was the biggest name on the board — and the 26-year-old slugger set a record for present-day value with his new deal with the New York Mets — but he was just one of several All-Stars available in what figures to be an active winter.

The best remaining free agents include 3B Alex Bregman, 1B Pete Alonso, SP Jack Flaherty, RP Tanner Scott, INF Ha-Seong Kim, RP Carlos Estévez, SP Nick Pivetta, OF Alex Verdugo and SP Max Scherzer.
